
Olga Kowalczyk – violist, chamber musician, lecturer. Born in 1993, she is a laureate of international viola competitions and an award-winning chamber musician.
She graduated with honors from the Hochschule der Künste Bern in Switzerland, in the class of Ryszard Groblewski; at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg in the class of Veronika Hagen, and at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the class of Sven Arne Tepl and Richard Wolf.
Since 2019, Olga Kowalczyk has been a member of the Luzern Symphony Orchestra. As a lecturer involved in music education, Olga Kowalczyk is regularly invited to lecture at the Hochschule für Musik in Lucerne. She is the coordinator of numerous programs educating future generations of musicians, including the 'Orchesterakademie' Luzern. Involved in charitable assistance supporting musical communities in countries in need, she organizes actions supporting children in music schools, among others, in Bangkok, Thailand.
Olga Kowalczyk is regularly invited to collaborate with many orchestras, including Orchester de la Suisse Romande, Berner Symphonieorchester, and Philharmonia Zurich. As an active chamber musician, she regularly performs in prestigious halls in Europe, such as KKL Luzern and Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. In the current artistic season, Olga Kowalczyk is taking part in numerous tours, including:
South Korea, Thailand and South America.
